How did they do?

Honest opinions from those who are skilled in the trade, how did this guy do? Aside from how the outdoor unit is sitting, I was pleased with his work and price point. Guy showed up right at 8am and seemed to take pride in his work and customer service.

Upon looking at the finished product, the only thing I am concerned with at the moment is how the outdoor unit is visibly not level (see pics 5 6 and 7). It is leaning to the front and also to one side. Is this something to be concerned about regarding the longevity of the motor, components and functioning of the equipment?

As an electrician who takes pride in my work, I am not pleased that effort wasn’t taken to atleast level the dirt to accommodate the pad.

Micron Lu 291

Any apprentices working on the micron site, specifically those as travelers? I’m out of local 280 where work is slow. The summer months might continue to be sparse for work. I’m staying busy bouncing between jobs, but it sounds like there will be some weeks without work. I need 1800 hours to take my journeyman’s exam and I’m already behind, looking at completion of my apprenticeship in 5 years. Travelling looks appealing for the hours and pay, but I only have 3 terms left of class. Working out of state could extend my apprenticeship, having to either put classes on hold or space them out more.

We have apprentices working out of local and some out in 291. Can anyone comment on conditions out at micron? What are apprentices working on? How is finding housing in Boise? I see the calls for journeyman and know some folks working out there getting $20 over scale plus $170 per diem.
