Ranting about woman keeps op hidden
Not big on anime but a big reader and reads a lot of novels where the characters isekai. So this seem like the right place to ask and rant.
Woman main characters that are OP always go to extreme length to keep it hidden even as they do insane feats or other just stay passive and hidden. I've drop so many stories because of this. Yes I know some OP male characters do the same but it feels like only a small percentage does this and even then thry stop doing it after a while. Yet with woman it as if it's the center of their entire personality. Stay low key, stay hidden at all cost. Part of why I like Azerinth healer as it one of the few stories where she doesn't seek fame but she doesn't hide either.
So why are female op characters almost always so freaking passive to a fault.
