Hi everyone, I joined this community specifically to figure out what this pastry is! I have had it in Mexico multiple times, and just saw it at the Mexican market near home, but it never seems to be labeled correctly! I looked up "Nuez" with no luck, and looked at photos of similar pastries (which didn't really help).

The pastry itself is kind of plain and dense, like a thick doughy cookie. (And I'm OBSESSED with it). If you know what it is, please let me know! ❤️
