I rebuilt my old lucid dreaming app from scratch for iOS
I rebuilt Lucidity Level from scratch for iOS and would be keen to get some feedback from the lucid dreaming community.
The idea is that it’s not just a dream journal. It also tracks the practice side of lucid dreaming, like recall, consistency, reality checks, techniques, alarms, goals, etc.
I also added daily/weekly quests. Partly just to make practice more engaging, but they’re also designed to encourage the habits that usually help with lucid dreaming progression.
Main journaling/practice features are free, with some optional paid features to help support future updates.
A few questions:
What do lucid dreaming apps usually get wrong?
Would AI dream interpretation actually be useful, and what are your thoughts on AI within lucid dreaming apps in general?
Are there any features you wish dream journal apps had?
And for Android users, would you want this brought back to Android too?
There used to be an older Android version years ago, but I eventually decided a full rebuild made more sense than continuing to patch the original app. Android is something I definitely want to return to once the new foundation is fully settled.
I still have a lot more features planned, but I want the direction of the app to be driven heavily by user feedback and what people actually find useful. There's also a way to contact me from within the app settings.
