First trip with friends from Delhi (June-July) Mountain trip within ₹20k pp
Hi everyone..
We’re a group of 4 friends from Delhi planning our first trip together and need suggestions 🙏
When: Flexible between 15 June - 15 July
Duration: Want to travel as many days as possible within budget.
Budget: 15k–20k per person total , including travel from/to Delhi.
Travel style:
Prefer train/bus journeys. Flights only if budget allows.
Sleeper trains OK, long road journeys OK
Budget stays (hostels/homestays)
We don’t drink or smoke, prefer less crowded places..
What we want:
Nature, mountains, Open to light trekking
Happy to rent scooty/bike locally.
Places we’re considering:
Kerala / Karnataka
Leh / Spiti / Ladakh
Sikkim / Meghalaya / Assam / Arunachal
Or any other place that you guys may suggest considering the budget..
Need help with:
Which region is best in late June-early July weather-wise?
With this budget, how many days can we realistically travel?
Cheapest way to reach from Delhi (train/bus/flight mix)?
Any beginner-friendly itinerary or less-crowded spots?
