I’m learning this piece for my grade 5 exam, and I’ve been looking at a lot of performances on YouTube aswell as recordings. What I’ve found is most of the recording I see the performers just play the piece mf all the way through rather than the alternating loud and quiet dynamics each bar. Same with the no one playing the repeats, although I understand that would be for making the piece more brief. Is there a reason people don’t play the dynamic shifts in this piece or is just a case of bad version of the sheet music missing them off? Even in the abrsm example recording they just play it mf all the way through.
