I think the current freakout about being banned for macroing/autoclicking is a false alarm, for a few reasons.
First off, sample size. At first i thought this was happening to way more people, but it turns out it seems to be only a few, it's just that they are posting/commenting about it in multiple places.
Secondly, it seems to only be happening to sols players. If this were real, games like Bee Swarm Simulator/Slime RNG/any number of other games where macroing/autoclicking is common would be experiencing the same thing.
Thirdly, the ban notice itself. I have seen three screenshots, two from this subreddit, and all three list the reason for ban as "A modified version of Roblox", with one of the messages stating that the user has been warned in the past for this exact thing. The ban messages also seem to state that players should not be "cheating, lying, or tricking" to get into other players accounts, falsely report them, impersonate others etc. None of this sounds consistent for getting banned for macroing/autoclicking. Instead, it seems like banned players may have been engaging in suspicious activity/using suspicious roblox clients/plugins, and are either unaware that these are against the rules and assumed it was their sols macro, or are intentionally trying to make it seem like it was their sols macro as an excuse.
There is also very little talk in sols discord servers about any sort of ban. My belief is that perhaps Roblox decided to crack down on certain plugins/clients/suspicious behaviour, which led to a tiny ban wave, with some banned people falsely attributing it to their sols macros. I don't believe there is any risk to macroing/autoclicking, there are many many people across multiple roblox games including sols that are using macros/autoclickers right now with no issue.
Hopefully there is some sort of clarity soon, and it never hurts to play it safe, but I think this is all one giant false alarm that was made to seem bigger/more common by a few very active users.
