New Watch shows coverage expired
Hey everyone,
I recently purchased apple watch ultra 2 from bestbuy and also paired it with my iphone 16 pro max. I updated both phone and watch to latest but suprisingly the coverage if the watch shows expired. I tried to check on the apple website by entering the serial number but it shows invalid. So, I'm unable to contact apple support too as in the support app it doesn't list the device. Although it shows on findmy app as well as apple store app too. I contacted bestbuy and they said its issue with apple and that I do have the one year coverage which people usually get with a new apple product. The bestbuy support agent also mentioned that sometimes it takes time to register the serial number on their server or something.But I wanted to verify with apple if the coverage still exists and why the serial number shows invalid. Anyone faced the same issue or know what to do?
