XT2041-4 (G Power 2020) is unreliable and often unusable, ROM suggestions and other help appreciated!
Device Info:
Model: XT2041-4 (sofia)
OS: Android 11
Carrier: Unlocked (using Mint if it matters)
Bootloader: Locked (not rooted, but I've done it on previous devices so I'm comfortable doing it again)
TLDR/Our Main Question:
What ROMs do you suggest for stable and reliable daily use on this phone? We don't need any extra customizations or fancy developer tools/features, just any simple OS that runs faster and smoother with better app compatibility and general support than Android 11 has these days will be perfect.

My spouse and I got these phones in 2021, and they've been great for years, but Android 11 is becoming increasingly sluggish and limiting to use. System/Google apps and services are constantly crashing, compatibility for play store apps is terrible and ever-dwindling, at this point our phones are crashing and bootlooping more often than they're working.
Factory resets haven't helped, adjusting dev settings to boost performance makes no improvement, even trying to write this post my device has crashed and rebooted several times. All basic features that rely on Google apps/services (keyboard, camera, microphone, etc) crash or fail to load entirely on most attempts. We've sent them off for repair/replacement through Motorola Support twice in the past few years with no improvement or solution found.
FOSS replacements for Google services have been the only apps that work consistently, but all of Google's background services and bloatware still interrupt things constantly and overload the system until it freezes and begins bootlooping for the next hour.
On top of all these issues I keep reading about Google's plans for the future of Android, so I'm about ready to either degoogle everything or just abandon smartphones altogether. My spouse is not so inclined to the idea of becoming tech-hermits yet, so any help is very much appreciated!
We just want a ROM that can restore some of the long-lost usability to our phones. Don't need anything with crazy customisability, just a stable and reliable OS that can handle the basic tasks (like texting, calling, browsing) that Google's Android apparently can't anymore.
An official/supported build would be most preferred, but my quick search online isn't showing anything that will work. I've read a bit about ArrowOS, LineageOS, and GrapheneOS, but I'm struggling to find anything about working builds for our device.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! Really wish we could just afford new phones, but it doesn't seem like a good investment until Motorola releases the new phones running GrapheneOS.
