Interesting Synergy between Arcana and X-Cost
I've been toying around with my end-game build and I decided I would try to play around with the X-Cost gem to see how I liked it. So far, pretty great! I imagine it'll be nice for nuking Death at the end, we shall see. It's nice at least to be able to use the massive amounts of Mana I produce.
However, during this run, I came across the Arcana: "Repeated Cards This Turn Are Free."
Free, huh? I wonder...
Sure enough, if you play your X-Cost card early on in a combo (or one of the same type) and then spam Mana, you can then use the X-Cost again with No Mana Cost while retaining the X-Cost scaling. I'm currently working on turning my X-Cost Peachone into an X-Cost Vandalier, and I imagine it'll be quite potent.
Anyways, I hadn't seen anyone mention this synergy yet, so I figured I'd share in case it helps anyone else.
