[UK] will this nest be okay?

hello everyone, today on my walk i saw what i thought was a rock at first but i think it is an egg! i didn’t want to touch it as it seem e very comfortable where it was so i no other egg angles. also there were lots of small feathers around the nest area.

its right by this path, as im pointing to in my shadow lol. it’s in a heather field.

did something happen with the feathers do you think? can you tell what bird this is? i heard a lot of house martens, swallows, pigeons and crows on my walk. and do you think the nest will be okay? thank you!

what is this? what does this behaviour mean? [UK]

i was watching this guy for ages hanging out in my plant pot. at first i thought he was just collecting pollen or something. but it seemed like he was rubbing his thang all over the bottom of leaves, stems and the soil. i wondered maybe is he laying eggs? but i couldn’t see anything coming out.

what is this? what does this behaviour mean? i am really curious. thank you!
