Long time plant friend looking ill
Please help me. I have been looking after this guy for more than a decade. he has started looking a bit yellow. i thought he was dry and had outgrown his pot, so now he has a much bigger pot with fresh soil and a good watering. he doesn't seem to be getting worse, but not better either. he gets sun most of the day, with direct sun for 3-4 hours. I live in Ohio and his window faces East. I don't know what type/species of plant he is (i have included pictures of his leaves to help with plant ID - he has slightly fuzzy leaves - not waxy at all. He's quite a quiet companion, but does show specific preference for 90s grunge and rock music.
I transplanted the full root-ball from the previous pot. I broke it up a bit and then positioned him in the center of the new larger pot with miracle-grow organic indoor potting mix. the repotting happened about 10 days ago and I am seeing no improvement.
If medications or treatments are required, I am happy to purchase, i just don't know what he needs.
