Meet Mr. Rogers

It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood back in August 2022 when we noticed and began feeding this stray kitty. We got him to the vet for shots and stuff, and they determined he was about one year old at that time. We already had 2 seniors cats, but this guy made his way into our family. He just turned 5 this week. We love him so much, he is a very good boy.

Tulsa FFS (Frequently Flooded Streets)

Came across this today, it’s a list and map of the streets most prone to flooding during heavy rains.

There’s also a map of the same info on that page.

Flash Flood Warning for Tulsa Co until 6:15pm

The warning is for much of Creek Co as well, NW Okmulgee Co, and SW Rogers Co.

Many of us are used to the spots where flash flooding really sucks in town. Name those places so others can be aware.

Some I can think of are…

W 33rd St down by around 91st and south
*Just south of* 41st & Sheridan

Anyone here go to the Prague Kolache Festival yesterday? I had never been, but wow that was way more fun than I expected it to be. The town only has about 2,300 residents but apparently the festival draws 20,000-30,000 people.

Next year we will go earlier and spend the whole day there.

I got my kolaches!!! Did you get yours!?
