New X99 build optimization help needed for Monero (E5-2686 v4)
Looking for advice to optimize the new X99 setup ( similar setup)
Specs:
-Motherboard - Machinist X99 PR8-H
-CPU - Xeon E5-2686 v4
-RAM - 32GB Ripjaws 1333MHz (running at 1600MHz)
-Miner - XMRig
I only changed the RAM speed from 1333 to 1600. Everything else in BIOS is on optimized defaults
CPU is running around 2.69GHz across 18 threads
Current hashrate is about 8 KH/s
Any tips to improve performance would be appreciated

Can CEX Exchanges Flag BTC From Monero DEX Trades in 2026?
i've been wondering about privacy when trading xmr on decentralized exchanges like retoswap or basicswap. if i sell monero for btc on a dex and then move that btc to a centralized exchange, can the cex somehow flag my account or the bitcoin i received? it seems like this could be a weak point in staying anonymous even when using monero. has anyone had experience with this or know how exchanges actually track these things?
