Question about sa graduation pictorial fee in RTU
Is this legit?
Isn't it too expensive just for a pictorial?
Or ito na talaga ang presyuhan ngayon?
I’m trying to understand if ito na talaga ang presyuhan ngayon (is this really the going rate nowadays for grad photos?), or if we are being lowkey ripped off. I know quality photography cost money, but this feels excessive for a standard school package.
What bothers me the most is the principle of it. Rizal Technological University is a state university. A huge portion of the student body chooses to study here precisely because it’s a public institution meant to be accessible. Isn't this highly unfair to the students and families who genuinely cannot afford to shell out this kind of money? Graduating should be a moment of celebration, not a financial burden or a source of anxiety just to get a photo for the yearbook/album.
Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has raised this concern to the student council. Thanks!
