Solus Updates Week 19, 2026
Updates include Kernels (7.0.5 / 6.18.28) for the DirtyFrag vulnerability and Clear Boot Manager to help with smaller EFI partitions. Plus many others.
New additions are LibrePod (AirPods) and VHS.

Updates include Kernel (7.0.2 & 6.18.25 LTS), NVIDIA (580.142), Niri (26.04), and more. Added DankMaterialShell to the repos for our WM users. Plus many security updates, so update!!
Important! With this week's kernel updates, nvidia-470-glx-driver-current and nvidia-developer-driver-* are being deprecated! If you are using the 470 driver, you will have to switch to the LTS kernel!

Heya folks! We've encountered some issues with Nvidia and the 7.0.x kernel. Therefore, the decision has been made to delay this week's sync by a few days to get everything working and settled. Stay tuned, and happy Friday!
Our current kernel version is already protected against the CopyFail exploit. To ensure that we do not cause any issues we want to do further testing before pushing out the new 7.0.x kernel.
