I get that the manga is ending. Do we know what/when the last chapter will be?

I wanted to start reading the manga and hoping to catch up before it ends.

I'm caught up with the show and I'm a fan. I want to be more immersed in the story and want to read ahead.

From what I've gathered, there is a manga, but it's ongoing. There is also a Web Novel and a Light Novel and I honestly don't know the difference. I know one of them has ended and the other one is ending.

I also gathered that the novels are fan translated, but I don't know if it's the web one or the light novels which get fan translated.

Happy to start reading from the beginning but where do I begin?

On a side note, There may be others with similar questions, especially as the anime ends. Maybe the mods can make a sticky discussion with this kind of information or add it to the wiki.
