Next saturday, a couple local singers will take to the stage for our third show of the summer. nothing fancy, just locals singing for locals!
Community event where local musicians and entertainers are invited to come and perform for the community! Come on down and grab an ice cream from the cone zone and setup a lawn chair in the park and enjoy an evening of free entertainment and community. This is intended to just be a simple community gathering enjoy summer time together.
Featured performers are Alexis Cooper and Jason "Bone Daddy" Conner. If we have more performers interested in joining we can extend the hours of the show a little earlier!
If you would be interested in performing, please reach out to me directly via facebook messenger, and I'll add you to the list of performers! time slots are available in 30 minute increments up to 2 slots per performer. Since this is a community gathering at the park, and not an official event at the amphitheater, no power will be available for performers, so you'll need to provide your own power source or battery powered speakers etc.
Standard Owosso public park rules will apply. We ask that all performers that wish to participate plan for material that is family friendly and appropriate for all audiences.
This schedule will be updated as more performers sign up!
Please note since this is a community gathering and not an official event at the venue, it is subject to cancellation if an organization books the amphitheater for use. I did have been in communication with the assistant city manager who did confirm that as the amphitheater is a public city park we can use it for such purposes as long as all standard Owosso park and amphitheater park rules are followed. Please be kind, pick up after yourselves and enjoy this fun gathering in the community!

On behalf of our Board of Education, staff, and students, thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and participate in this important decision for the future of Owosso Public Schools.
An Exciting Update from Superintendent Brooks:
I am grateful to the voters of the Owosso Public Schools community for their support of the bond proposal. Additionally, I extend my deepest gratitude to the expansive group of community members, staff, coaches, booster clubs, and parent volunteers who diligently worked to educate the community about the proposal.
The approved projects will address critical facility needs, enhance safety and security, and protect our community's investment in our schools for years to come. We will continue to be responsible with these taxpayer dollars and remain committed to transparency and communication throughout the planning and construction process.
On behalf of our Board of Education, staff, and students, thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and participate in this important decision for the future of Owosso Public Schools. I am grateful to everyone who took the time to learn about the proposal, ask questions, and engage in thoughtful dialogue throughout this process. Yesterday’s vote was an investment in our students and in the future of our Owosso Trojan community.
