the gap in my front teeth starting closing pretty early on in my treatment and I was getting worried that the crowding on my bottom teeth wasn’t moving much initially. it FINALLY started straightening out towards the end of my treatment after starting the refinement stage. I’m finally changing trays weekly vs every 2 weeks. currently on tray 7 of 9 refinement trays and my teeth are moving so fast now! I started invisalign to fix my bite and my bottom teeth no longer hit my two front teeth now. I also grind my teeth WAY less too. I’m so relieved and happy. I think at the end I’ll just want some teeth whitening done and to make my 2 front teeth equal length. anyway, if you’re early on and progress is still slow, be patient and trust the process!
fyi - the only thing that alarmed me in the refinement stage is a few teeth wiggle and feel slightly loose but this is common for bottom incisors. I’m just gentle flossing and brushing, and making sure to wear trays 21-22 hours as to not damage the roots.
