Built something for working actors — looking for a few beta testers (US or UK)
Hey r/ActingUK — I'm a theatrical general manager based in New York and I've spent the last several months building a site I wish existed in this industry.
It's called Recast (https://www.recast.show). The idea: a permanent record of who performed in every production, every night. Every understudy credit. Every time you went on. Documented forever.
But it's also the program bio you've always wanted. Your own profile page with multiple headshots, up to 1,000 words for your bio, video reels, social links, and a full archive of every role you've performed. When audiences pull up the cast list for your show, your name links directly to your profile.
Currently US-focused but built to grow internationally — West End and UK regional are absolutely on the roadmap.
