I don't mind background tab throttling (specifically concerned about the minimum timeout length rather than bandwidth here, though this applies to both); my computer is bad enough that it's certainly helpful. But there are specific sites that I visit often that I do not want to be throttled under any circumstances.

So is there some trick that makes it possible? I see this trick which I could make a userscript for to do the function I'm looking for, but is there an easier way?
