My family of three are headed to Costa Rica at the end of this month. I'd love your suggestions or local sodas to check out, the least touristy the better.

We would love to check out some local markets as well as the best local spots for some groceries if we want to prepare anything at our abnb.

We stay 1 night in Liberia flying in early. Then, we head to LA FORTUNA for a couple of days. We then head back towards Liberia and stay near Nuevo Arenal for 3 days. Finally, we end our trip near El Jobo for 2 days before flying out of Liberia to go home.

Any recommendations on local eats, markets, and grocery spots in these locations would be super helpful. Also, any hidden spots we should check out while there would be awesome as well.

What's my best option for getting the local currency for my trip at the end of may?

We will be there for 7 days. Should we have a mix of USD and Colons?

Will my cashapp card be usable for card transactions there as well?
