Im terrified as my surgery date gets closer. Guidance?
Im 21 and having a hysterectomy for my endometriosis + gender dysphoria. Trust me I am SO excited to have my uterus gone in a few weeks, but as the date gets closer the more terrified I am of the actual surgery. Im having a robotic supracervical hysterectomy, and for context ive had an endometriosis excision with no complications (other than finding out i have a minor surgical glue allergy after a day or two). I trust my surgeon 100% but the fact that it's major surgery and that im going under just freaks me out the closer it gets. Any words of advice?
