▲ 3 r/tax

IDOR has did a wage garnishment on my paycheck after several traceable (UPS/USPS receipts) that their assessment of me living in Illinois full time was incorrect. I only lived there for 4 months and Indiana for the remainder. Their charging me almost $3,000 for full time resident taxes when I only owed $127.00, which was paid years ago.

I filed a return, provided W2 which showed both Indiana and Illinois along with wages, my tax return, an Employer Tax Transcript which showed both and they STILL refuse to fix THEIR mistake.

I have reached out to every entity within IDOR, even emailed a Senator for assistance, and Im still being garnished.

I provided multiple letters with tracking disputing their calculations, repeatedly sent my W2s and previous dispute letters to have them all ignored. Their collection agency (Harvard Collections in Chicago), refused all 3 shipments of UPS documents within the 30 day period they give you to dispute it.

Has anyone else dealt with them and actually was able to get things fixed, as well as a refund? Im at a loss right now. Literally and Financially.

Ive watched Murder She Wrote growing up since the beginning. I love to watch it now.

I was wondering if anyone catches themselves getting emotional/nostalgic while watching.

I so desperately miss those times. I miss when there were barely any cell phones, I miss the times where she types on her typewriter before all the computers came in, I miss the way we dressed back then, and I miss the Hometown feel from the Cabot Cove episodes..

May sound silly, I just wish someone would have told us that those times and great shows like Murder She Wrote were ending..I would have hit the Pause button and never hit play.
