Y’all already know this, but

I just got back home to Atlanta from New Orleans 2 hours ago. Sitting on my couch smiling from my time there.

I was there Monday-Thursday.

I walked 60,000 steps through your city, and took the streetcar. From the French Quarter, to the Garden District, to the 7th ward, and to City Park.

I talked to people sitting on their porches, and ended up befriending an 86 year old woman on Tuesday who i had lunch with today before i went to the airport.

New Orleans is special. There is nothing like it in the world. So grateful to have gone, I went alone as a 27 year old woman. My life is changed, for the better, forever.

The kindest people i have ever met. Each person i met i talked to for over 30 minutes. Not small talk, genuine conversations.

I learned so much, i laughed so much, and I have memories to last for a lifetime in my head.

Y’all already know this, but, New Orleans is the best city in the country. I’ll be back multiple times a year, until I die.

Thank you, NOLA.

Hi all,

I want to do a swamp tour when I’m in New Orleans next month, but I would prefer it to be really personal and small. I don’t want to be with a whole bunch of kids or families.

I’m a 27 year old woman. Anyone have any friends with an airboat that does tours lol? All the ones on google are the big touristy ones, and even on Airbnb experiences, there’s nothing.

I’ll compromise and just do the touristy ones if I have to, but thought I’d ask!

Thanks!
