I’ve been sick all day with a stomach bug and used my PTO to call in, but a little later I received a call from the lead asking if I had my shift up. I feel like they were implying that I called in because no one took my shift. They also asked me if I could come in for a partial shift until I brought up the stomach issues. I usually always put my Saturdays up just in case to make room for family time or going out with friends. Should I be worried about retaliation or a writeup in any way? I know I shouldn’t feel bad for using the pto I earned, but I can’t help it.
