Workplace PTSD
My husband’s coworker was killed at work a few days ago. He was killed by a faulty piece of machinery. It was the fault of the manufacturer of the machine and the company he works for. The guy lived for about ten minutes and then died while a couple of guys (including my husband) tried to save him. They were doing chest compressions ect. Since then my husband has shown some signs of PTSD.
I don’t know where to go from here. He has worked at this company for 20 years and doesn’t want to leave. OSHA investigations are ongoing. It is a large corporation, not a small business. What do we do from here?
