I remember when I started calling her ladoo because of her obsession with ladoos. It was a bit silly because I was never that passionate for ladoos either until she spread it to me like an infectious love for orange-coloured spherical sweets. My favourite sweets are ras malai, but I call her ladoo because that’s the name that stuck, but I do call her ras malai sometimes because I love her sweet heart and it gives me the same joy as eating ras malai.
