1985 F-150 Problems Starting When Hot
Hey all, I’ve got a 1985 F-150 with the 5.0L EFI motor. Lately, I’ve been having problems with starting the truck when it gets up to operating temp. I’ll start it cold, drive it a while, and park to get gas or something. When I hop back in the truck to start it, the temp gauge is all the way to “H” and the starter cranks very slowly. I thought it could be the alternator not properly recharging the battery, but I replaced that and am still having the same issue. The starter is new, I just installed it in april. Just wondering if you guys have had similar problems and if you have any solutions for me 🙏🙏
