Getting into a new trade/Apprenticeship
I've been a welder and a machinist basically ever since I got out of high school (2013). I am just tired of the factory life, pay isn't great in my area, both aren't necessarily good for my health. I've been debating on what direction I should go. CDL, HVAC, Electrician or even Appliance Repair. What are the biggest pros and cons to your own trade? What would make me feel proud of my work, pay me fairly decent but still have a ok work life balance? I also recently signed up for Skillcat, will this actually help me get into a new trade?
I am in Northern Indiana if that makes a difference. Yes, I know I could go back into RVs but the job market doesn't seem stable enough for me to go back.
Thank you for you time.
