Don't just hit me with a "it's possible but not as common" or something; you guys know what I mean.
Are there some decent ways to work your way up (with different gigs) or is the main path basically just befriending brothers?
I'm an incoming BBA freshman (interested in investment banking (specifically within tech/energy)) who's nervous about applying to Ross clubs.
I hear they're already very intense, and I'm coming from out of state, so I naturally don't know as many people as someone from Michigan might, which makes me feel like I'm at a disadvantage (hence, the nervousness).
Is now too early to start networking? Is it the right time? What's really expected of me in terms of knowledge and resume?
