Don’t buy anything from Ecoroad second hand.

Don’t buy anything from Ecoroad second hand.

This is how silly their support is. I didn’t ask them to send me anything other than information (which admittedly I can probably find online, but I wanted to know the best way to disconnect the rear motor.)

I bought my ES6 brand new, from someone who bought it and ended up liking a different one more.

I understand if I was asking them to send me parts or a replacement scooter, but this is ridiculous. Imagine if I needed any other support, like god forbid it catches on fire or something?

If they are a half decent manufacturer, the serial number should fully tell them what parts were used etc. An eBay order number isn’t going to tell them more than their BOM would.

I have close to 200 miles on my Ecoroad ES6 and while it’s generally been OK, I feel like the brakes leave a lot to be desired. I’m at the point where I think I need to replace the brake pads because the barrel adjusters are close to fully out / maybe I need a cable adjustment.

I’ve contemplated “upgrading” to hydraulic brakes, but wanted to know from anyone who’s made the switch if it’s worth the trouble.

The way I’m looking at it is possibly a more direct brake feel / better translation of hand force to braking and less concern of cable stretch / messing with adjusters going forward.
