Am I going to regret this 4' o clock flower?
I have a chaotic flower bed situation going on, due to planting a few things but mostly just many random seeds in the last few years that are just popping up when and where they want. This has been a most exciting spring because perennials are coming in! I really love the chaos and discovering new friends popping up!
But I'm super worried about this new 4 o'clock and where it is. It's growing fast, and as you can see it has a few friends coming in around it too. As you can see from the side view, this guy has taken up prime real estate near the middle, and between quite a few plants that I LOVE. It's a small bed and I don't want them to get crowded out by what seems to be a fairly aggressive plant (sooo many babies)!
Can I keep it controlled where it is with pruning? Should I keep one of the small ones closer to the brick wall and get the bigger one out of that middle spot? I plan to move all but one to different beds, but I'm worried even once will be too much for this space. What do you all think?
