Who's the go-to kitchen remodeling in San Francisco?

My partner and I run a small cooking school and we are currently fighting with the bank over some loan restructuring. We need to add three more prep stations before the fall classes start.

A buddy of mine hired a big name franchise last year and they basically installed cheap countertops that chipped after six months. We are on a strict budget until our funding clears.

Looking for an honest local company that knows how to handle heavy use surfaces properly.

Is there a standout basement remodeling in Tampa worth trying?

Managing a couple of multi-family rental properties and the cash flow is a bit of a mess right now while we wait on refinancing. One of the buildings has a lower level that we want to convert into a laundry facility.

I've been reading online and it seems like half these guys just want to sell you a completely new foundation instead of actually working with what's there.

Really need a straight shooter who can get this sorted and stop the water damage without taking advantage of the situation.

Looking for the best kitchen remodeling in New York any suggestions?

Running a small catering business out of a commercial space here and things are tight right now with some financing falling through. We need to completely overhaul the prep area to meet new health codes.

I've seen other owners get scammed by contractors who quote low and then disappear for weeks leaving the place gutted. I literally cannot afford to have my kitchen out of commission that long.

Has anyone used a reliable crew that actually sticks to their timeline and knows commercial grade setups?

I recently bought a new home and want to add a bathroom to an upstairs loft (about 80 sq ft). The layout works well because the plumbing lines from the bathroom below align with where I’d place the new toilet, and there are already electrical outlets available.

I’m trying to get a ballpark estimate for the cost, specifically for plumbing and electrical work only (materials and labor). This would include installing a shower or tub, toilet, and sink, but not framing, drywall, painting, or other finishing work.

I do plan to get at least three quotes, but I’d appreciate any general pricing guidance in the meantime.

We’re planning to replace 20 single-pane windows in our 1980s home and had our first consultation with Window Nation yesterday. The visit started smoothly with measurements, but things became uncomfortable once pricing came up.

The initial quote was $65k, which quickly dropped to $33k if we signed on the spot. After the typical “call the manager” routine and switching to lower-quality windows, the price went down further to $26k. We chose not to sign since we’re still gathering multiple quotes.

Is this kind of high-pressure pricing and negotiation standard with window companies? Any advice on how to handle these sales tactics when meeting with others?
