Trying to install the daytek fold down cloth lines on the deck posts.

I followed the recommendation using M8 x 50 (it looked too big to me but thought ok)

Got galvanised ones from Bunnings

Drilling them in with my ozito rotary not one hammer mode; they all snapped and I’m a fucked now I’ll have to move and do new holes.

Can anyone help me and recommend better screw because this isn’t working.. any trickery one should be aware of this didn’t look hard but it’s turning into a very annoying shit fight
