Will upgrading Ram improve performance?
I have a Dell Latitude 3500 laptop which is considered a non-gaming rig laptop. The games I've played so far are -
\- Arkham Asylum, City, Origins.
\- Styx : Master of shadows
\- Deep rock galactic
\- Brawlhalla
\- Toram online
\- Heartopia
The system specifications are
System Model - Latitude 3500
System Type - x64-based PC
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 1800 MHz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM)
8.00 GB
Total Physical Memory
7.88 GB
Available Physical Memory
976 MB
Total Virtual Memory
18.9 GB
Available Virtual Memory
8.04 GB
Sometimes, I encounter stuttering, rarely crashes. I'm thinking about upgrading Ram to 16 gb. Will it improve performance slightly? Or will it be significantly better?
Or should I just upgrade my SSD storage and play games compatible with my device?
