My dad keeps asking when I’ll buy a house, but my resume can’t even get me an interview at McDonald’s

I am 28 years old, holding a master’s degree in data analytics, and I am currently sitting in my childhood bedroom broke, exhausted, and deeply embarrassed. Over the last six months, I have submitted around 600 applications. I’ve tailored my resume for data analyst roles, business intelligence positions, and eventually out of desperation, basic entry-level customer service jobs. I even tried applying for night shifts at local fast-food places just to have some income. Silence across the board. The worst part isn't even the ATS rejections. It's the psychological weight. My dad walks into my room every weekend asking about my job search and subtly dropping hints about how at my age he already owned a home and supported a family. Every family dinner feels like an interrogation where I have to pretend I’m "just waiting to hear back from a few promising leads." I am actively watching my savings drain to zero while staring at a document that is supposed to represent my entire professional worth, but clearly fails to do so. I don't need gentle advice or polite encouragement anymore. I need someone to ruthlessly dissect my resume and tell me what glaring red flag is ruining my life right now.
