After my last rant on here, it seemed a lot of people that commented on it agreed and im happy with that, tbh i didnt think so many people would agree

But anyway, the main sub is soooo obnoxious and unbearable. For my own mental health / sake, i muted it and only look on there for mod updates or to help someone with a question. You cant give info or explain reasonably without people downvoting you into hell or replying to you like you're supporting every decision made by the dev.

As i've said before, this is reddit so expect it but once someone forms an opinion, everyone else follows and god forbid you have a difference insight and is sharing it respectfully. I'd say its a little better on here and another sub that someone recommended to me but its so toxic and I see why some mods take down peoples comments / posts. I dont support anything the devs are doing but im still respectful to those who have a different opinion.

A few minutes ago, a mod posted an update for a new chat style test so i commented since i was happy theyre doing something about PSQ2 and got downvoted. I see why they did but at the same time I dont..? The rest of the comments were asking "wheres soft launch / nyan / roar / etc." and I get why because i love those too! Its just that everyone rightfully said PSQ2 is bad so now the devs are trialing a chat style for dialogue issues and now people dont want it but say the devs dont listen (which obviously is true in many ways still)

Basically the title..? to preface, i understand that cai is having its downfall and that they deserve all the hate / negativity / criticism. However, i noticed that if you even try to be positive about anything, you get downvoted into oblivion without letting them have a chance to speak. I was talking in a thread explaining why soft launch was being retired (and not even defending cai btw) and it got downvoted heavily for what reason? Yes this is reddit so obviously expect it but seriously, it’s okay to have your own opinion and not follow a crowd when it comes to literally just someone sharing their thoughts of soft launch (and other styles) being removed. Sorry for the long post rant it’s just kinda annoying tbh but you can find the thread on my profile in comments

Edit: this also happened to me a few weeks ago when I tried to help someone about an issue about memory and how it works 🤷‍♀️
