How much money would a Daft Punk biopic make?
There is no doubt about it: The current fever that Antoine Fuqua's Michael has been generating worldwide is certain to unleash another avalanche of biopics the way that F. Gary Gray's Straight Outta Compton began in 2015 and was taken even further a notch by Brian Singer's Bohemian Rhapsody three years later.
And sure: Cases like Michael Gracey's Better Man have proven that even works with great critical reception don't necessarily translate to equivalent box office gross due to the obscurity of the artist outside it's main territory (and a couple of others).
So lo and behold today's high life dilemma after it's been over five years since the legendary duo's break up: Would that project thrive around the world and make it to the Top 10 list, or would it short circuit into disappointment territory?
