Removing Dead Weight

Does anyone know if it has gotten easier to fire people within usda for conduct or performance? I know of many employees in our state who are acting like they are untouchable while others are carrying their weight and others. Conduct issues are through the roof and its widely known. If usda needed to reduce people, i don't see why they couldn't give power to supervisors to do what needs to be done. It's pretty embarrassing to know you work for an agency where you can royally screw up and are protected and even potentially promoted. It's killed the moral and im so sick of these people.

The Good Ones

In the middle of all the choas, I'd like to acknowledge that we do have some leaders who truly care. Regardless of which political party is in charge, we do have some nrcs lifers who care about our deep mission. I'm seeing that silver lining during the middle of this crazy reorganization mess. I believe there are some good state conservationists out there. The more I talk to counterparts across state lines, more im convinced there are a few stc's that want the best for us and our farmers. I cant speak to above state shitty treatment though.,, maybe I'm all in my emotions tonight but I'm looking for some positives because I have a long career left and I love our important work. I'm new to reddit so this post may be shit on by morning.
