I finally read Blood Meridian, really enjoyed the style, it does feel like a western, and there's characters that you get connected to. Loved them and hated them.

But, what a book; too gruesome and violent for my taste, I only finished it because I rarely leave a book unfinished. The story is too long also, some repetitive stuff in there.

Don't know if you feel the same here.
