Squeak over bumps 2018 XC90 T6
My late 2018 ZC90 T6 160k has started to have a squeak, every time I go over bump or divot in the road.
Only really noticeable when the windows are down, but otherwise can’t really hear it inside the cabin.
Was thinking it was bushes or suspension, hoping it a not air suspension…
I’ve rocked the car side to side when parked, by grabbing the roof racks but no squeaks.
Recent service the mechanic couldn’t diagnose it, I find a lot of mechanics don’t spend the time to check something out thoroughly, it’s like “just have it towed here when it stops working”.
Funny enough at slow speeds when you hit speed bumps it doesn’t make the sound, more when I’m moving at speed and hit small undulations, bumps, divots etc.
Drives completely fine, no steering vibration, or other issues. No fault codes.
Anyone else had any squeaks like this?
What would be the best approach to hunting down the issue? Go to a specialist suspension place?
