Chaudhary Devi Singh Kalisyan of the Balwa Gujaran Estate. The Balwa Gujaran Estate was a large zamindari in Shamli, Western Uttar Pradesh, held by the Hindu Kalisyan Gurjars. The ruling family was also known as the “Hathiwale” because they kept elephants as pets.
