Accretion: one source for AltStore, SideStore, Feather & ESign (161 sources merged, always newest)
So basically I kept adding source after source and running into the same app at three different versions, dead download links and sources nobody updates anymore. I couldn't find one source that had everything and stayed current, so I built one.
Accretion is a source in the standard AltStore format. It merges 161 public AltStore and SideStore sources into one link and keeps only the newest version of every app.

How it works
1. Finding sources (every week)
It reads public source lists and scans GitHub for repos tagged as AltStore/SideStore sources. Every link it finds gets downloaded and checked. Only real sources in the AltStore format are kept. Mirrors and short links of a source it already has are skipped, and a source that stays broken for 30 days is dropped. Sources can also be blocked by hand, for example ones marked as adult content.
2. Merging (every 6 hours)
All 161 sources are downloaded at the same time. If a source is down, the last working copy is used so its apps don't disappear. Right now that's 30,009 app listings going in.
3. Picking the newest version
When several sources list the same app (same bundle ID), only one copy is kept:
highest version number wins
if the version is the same, the newer release date wins
if that's the same too, hand-picked sources win
That's how 30,009 listings turn into 8,750 apps, with 2,231 duplicates merged.
4. Cleaning every app
Before anything ships, every app is cleaned to the official AltStore source format:
https links only, http downloads and images are removed
release dates, sizes and categories fixed to the right format
apps with no category get one guessed from the name and bundle ID
iPad screenshots kept only when they include their size, as the format requires
app permissions cleaned up, never guessed, because a wrong list blocks the install
the 2 newest versions of each app are kept so the source stays fast
news notifications from other sources are turned off, so you don't get spammed
5. Leaving out what can't install
Patreon-only apps (they only download for that source's patrons) and AltStore PAL listings (EU-only packages, not IPAs) are left out. Same for listings with no icon, no date or a broken bundle ID. Right now that's 344 listings.
6. Checking download links (every day)
Every download link gets tested. If a file is gone (404 or the host no longer exists) two days in a row, that version is removed. If a whole host fails at once, it's usually blocking bots or having a bad day, so those links get 7 days before anything is removed.
7. Safety net
After every build the whole source is checked against the AltStore format again. If anything fails, nothing gets published and the last good version stays live. You never get a half-broken source.
Everything runs on GitHub Actions. There's no server and no tracking, and the code is open.

FAQ
Why is an app missing?
It either failed the format checks (http-only, no icon, no date), it's Patreon-only or PAL, or its download link died. The report on GitHub shows every source and how many apps it gave or lost.
Why did I get a different build of an app than I expected?
A source can only list one app per bundle ID. When several tweaked builds use the same ID (YouTube tweaks, for example), the highest version wins. If you want a specific build, add that build's own source as well.
How often does it update?
Apps every 6 hours, download links every day, new sources every week.
Can I get a source added or removed?
