Looking for hightension romance
No Isekai into high society bullshit I beg of you. I'm looking for a romance centered webtoon that's first and foremost about the tension between the two leads with a side of a good plot. I'm really tired of useless chapters where the isekaied heroine just buddies up with the high society figures who used to hate her but suddenly see her like an angel incarnate. I'm tired of dukes of the north, duchesses, heirs, and stupid tea parties. More than anything, I'm tired of three pages worth of lore dumping about this and that kingdom and magic and saints and FLs who promise to drop the og plot but then are conveniently forced into interacting with it.
I'm not saying there aren't any good stories in this genre. Some of my favorites ever are isekais, but boy are those tropes *exhausted*.
I just want leads like Olgami or Dreaming Freedom. I'm not necessarily talking yandere, but the type of stories where the rest of the world comes second to what's between them. Needless to say, I'm looking for something actually well written in this respect, no dumb FLs or rap*st MLs.
Sorry for the rent I'm just at the end of my rope with these commercial titles 😭
