Entitled nail salon patron

I always read the stories on here and laugh at the stupidity of these people but I've never gotten to witness one first hand until today.

I'm at the nail salon at the first booth which is next to the register and directly in front of the door. I had to get a nail repaired. When I came in for the first time a few weeks back, I let the owner know that their website was broken and appeared to have been hacked. He thanked me and told me they hasn't used their website in a long time so they had no idea. (This is relevant.)

While a different person was doing my nails today, some old lady walks into the door already in a mood. She claimed she made an appointment on their website and it said she would get a confirmation within 48 hours and never did. The guy doing my nails paused and told her that they've never done reservations on their website, like EVER. I chimed in that the website was broken and I had already notified them prior. She ignored me and talked over to me to the lady at the next booth and was freaking out about this "confirmation" and the guy again tells her "WE DON'T DO APPOINTMENTS ONLINE!" I repeated again that the site isn't even working and she interrupted me mid sentence and yelled "I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU!" So I told her, "Well these people don't deserve you treating them like this. You're being an asshole and I'm not gonna just sit here and listen to this!" She huffed and kicked the doorstop that was holding the door open and slammed the glass door screaming that she had been coming to the salon for 20 years and something else I didn't catch.

I felt so bad for them. They were visibly uncomfortable the entire time but couldn't say anything back for obvious reasons. I hope she never comes back.
