I’ve been a type one for 24 years. This is my 4th baby. Last month my A1c was 7.0 and I have been diligent with my blood sugars but today my A1c is 8.1. My pump shows that I’m in range 70% of the time but my average blood glucose is 170. My baby is also measuring normal in the 53rd percentile. I am so confused and frustrated. Maybe I haven’t paid as close attention as I thought with having 3 other kiddos under3 years old but I’m spiraling because I can’t remember the last time my A1c was 8 even when not pregnant. Is 5 weeks enough time to try and get things back under control?
