Ok I recently bought a 2026 Santa Cruz SE. My prior car was a jeep compass. The jeep whenever I put it on park it automatically turned the break on. My Santa Cruz doesn’t.

Is there a way for me to turn that on?

I did a google search and I was advised to pull the break button up and to hold it until it made a sound. I’m not sure if I missed some steps but it never made a sound and of course it didn’t turned the auto parking brake to on.
