Urgent Brake Issue (Help!!)
Hey all, posting this here hoping maybe some redditor has had the exact same extremely specific issue that I'm having.
This is my 1992
Coming off of the highway and onto an exit my brake pedal fell to the floor. This happened twice.
The car has been completely fine for city driving and gives me no issues. I haven't dared take it back on the highway.
I got a diagnostic done and the shop found my brake fluid was contaminated with water. I told them I thought it was my master cylinder but they told me it wasn't worth looking at until I flushed the fluid from the system.
I took it to a different shop to bleed the brakes and flush the system only for them to tell me the valve wouldn't turn and if they forced it open it could break the calipers on the car. They didn't want to risk them breaking the calipers, me paying for the repair, only for the fluid flush to not fix the issue.
I just need any sort of advice on where to go from here if anyone has anything that might be helpful.
