I'm a intl student and will apply to the US universities for fall 2026. I'm in dilemma whether I should make ed with amherst or notoredame REA.

Though Amherst ED acceptance rate is much higher than notoredame, some sources claim those spots are reserved for atheltes, hooked candidates or some legacy owners (I'm couldn't verify). On contrary, notoredame economics is better than amhrest but it's still competitive. Some sources claim, they value people with their catholic ideologies (I'm couldn't verify this also. I need your perspectives). Considering all of these situations, what should I do?

As these two universities are need-blind for intl students, I hope seeking full-ride won't hurt my application. Am I correct?
